Around 200 golfers from prestigious golf clubs across the nation will gather at the renowned Tiger Golf Club (TGC) in Odogbo, Ibadan, as the 10th Tiger Ladies 2022 Open tees off. This highly anticipated four-day event is scheduled to take place from December 1st to 4th, as announced by Patience Ekwere, the Lady Captain of TGC, who is also the chief host. She highlighted that the National and Zonal Executives of the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN) will be arriving in Ibadan on Wednesday, November 30th, to participate in this special occasion.
“The Tiger Golf Course, which is currently considered to have some of the best fairways and well-maintained lush greens in the Southwest and the country, has been meticulously prepared to welcome the golfers,” Ekwere stated.
The tournament will feature golfers across various handicap categories, ensuring a diverse and competitive field. In addition to the thrilling golf action, the event will include a range of social activities such as an Arrival/Practice Cocktails, two Dinner Parties, and a traditional closing ceremony.
Ekwere further mentioned that entertainment will be a significant part of the event, with a popular Ibadan DJ, musical bands, and various side attractions set to keep guests and participants entertained throughout the tournament.
